Counselling that helps you to pause, take a breath, and move forward.

Life can feel overwhelming at times. You feel like you're stuck in a loop, with moments of your life replaying in your head on repeat. It can make you feel anxious, stressed and jittery, focused on the past rather than on the future.

Together, we can find a path forward for you. A path where you feel more in control of your life, more confident that you can handle the bumps in the road.

As you read this, you might be feeling nervous about choosing the ‘best’ counsellor. You want to find the right fit. Someone who will listen to what you have to share and offer guidance, not judgement.

That's why I offer a free 20-minute call. You'll be able to ask me questions about how counselling works and learn more about me. As with all my sessions, the call will be 100% confidential.

By deciding to have counselling, you've taken the first tentative step in the right direction. Let's see where the next step can take you.

Why Interlude?

Interlude means a break from your usual activity. It’s a chance to step away from the routines and stresses of life, to breathe, rest and decide what comes next.

About me.

My name is Leah and I am a counsellor. The name Interlude also reflects my love of music. I’ve always loved to sing, to play the piano and to write my own music.

I am committed to helping people feel listened to and valued. I draw on my life experience, training and personality to provide the best service I can for you.

I have always enjoyed meeting people and having good conversations. Listening and caring has come naturally to me, but I also have a wide knowledge of many counselling theories to draw on.
